The Shawn Higgins State Farm Insurance Agency has proudly served Carmel, Indiana, Hamilton County, and the greater Indianapolis area since 2009.

With more than 20 years of experience at the State Farm agency level—including 17 years as an agent and 4 years prior as a team member—I’ve built this agency around helping families and small business owners protect what matters most. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to represent a company that truly cares about its customers and employees, and that’s exactly what guides the work we do every day.

Our office is conveniently located on Michigan Road, just north of the I-465/Michigan intersection on the west side of the street, right near where Carmel, Zionsville, and Indianapolis meet. While we’re rooted locally, we’re licensed to serve customers across the entire state of Indiana.

My wife and I live and work right here in the community, raising our two children. Being part of Carmel means staying involved beyond the office. We enjoy spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, and staying active as a family, and we’re both engaged in our children’s schools and PTO groups. I’m proud to support local organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Indianapolis Chapter, Habitat for Humanity, and Changing Footprints, where we also serve as a drop-off location for shoe donations that go to those in need.
